Job summary

Kering's Madison Avenue flagship seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee stock rooms, shipping/receiving, and cashier coordination. You will ensure accurate deliveries, maintain stock-room standards, and support management with inventory controls and trained staff.

The role emphasizes organizational excellence, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a luxury retail environment. New arrivals, replenishment, and returns require timely, accurate handling.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in highly-complex, retail stock room.
• Experience with international/domestic freight a plus (FedEX/UPS).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Excel proficiency; basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate receiving/shipping documentation and quantities.
• Provide stock checks and quick delivery to sales floor.
• Maintain stock room by style, color and size as directed.
• Execute routine cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Maintain organized shipping area and log outgoing merchandise.
• Maximize stock space for efficient store operation.
• Communicate arrivals, replenishment and returns to management.
• Assist in training new hires on shipping/receiving policies.
• Supervise payment procedures and assist cashiers when needed.
• Coordinate with Facilities and HQ Operations on maintenance.
• Oversee after/before sales and product returns.
• Manage staff clothing allowance.
