Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Asset Protection in Beverly Hills, CA. You will monitor a high-end luxury retail location, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while communicating with shoppers and staff.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, including emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, employee, and vendor entry procedures in a luxury retail environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer areas, merchandise displays, and receiving locations and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
