Job summary

The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is seeking a friendly Retail Salesperson to assist guests in finding products and completing purchases on the sales floor. You will maintain product knowledge, keep the area organized, and uphold the hotel’s luxury standards with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities include greeting shoppers, guiding selections, processing transactions with POS systems, restocking shelves, and supporting inventory checks while meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate POS systems and basic computer functions.
• Stand, walk, and lift merchandise up to 30 lbs for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming shopping experience.
• Assist customers in locating products and making purchase decisions.
• Process transactions accurately using POS systems, including handling cash, credit, and returns.
• Maintain visual merchandising and restock shelves as needed.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics.

• Participate in inventory counts and loss prevention measures.
