Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a skilled facilities maintenance professional to join our in-store team. You will maintain and repair building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related equipment, ensuring safe, reliable operations in a fast-paced luxury environment.

The role requires vocational/technical training in mechanical or electrical fields and 2–5 years of experience; strong multitasking and communication skills; and the ability to respond to after-hours calls, with potential

Qualifications

• Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• Two to Five years experience or four years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• Must have a background in building maintenance, electrical, and HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly preventive maintenance on all building equipment and building envelop, with daily/weekly and monthly safety inspections logged.
• Inspect facility equipment such as vertical transportation, boilers, generators and HVAC.
• Order maintenance supplies and assist the Regional Manager in managing maintenance expense accounts.
• Assist Regional Manager with execution of capital planning projects.
• Maintain building energy management systems including lighting via Trane Ensemble Software.
• Support store systems such as Point of Sale (POS) and Telephone systems.
• Assist with kitchen equipment as needed.
• Respond to after-hours and emergency calls; overtime may be required.
• Must be able to work with limited time off between Black Friday and January 8.
