Neiman Marcus is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to maintain and repair building systems in a luxury NM store. • Vocational or college degree in mechanical or electrical field.
• 2–5 years experience or 4-year apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical field.
• Background in building maintenance, electrical, and HVAC.
• Ability to multitask and self-prioritize work assignments.
• Able to work with others or independently as a self-starter.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Effective written and verbal communication with peers, management, contractors, and vendors.
• Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Self-motivated and customer-centric.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for weekly preventive maintenance on all building equipment and building envelope, including safety inspections.
• Inspections must occur on facility equipment such as vertical transportation, boilers, generators and HVAC.
• Responsible for ordering maintenance supplies and assisting the Regional Manager in managing maintenance expense accounts.
• Assist Regional Manager with execution of capital planning projects.
• Maintain and coordinate building energy management systems, including lighting via Trane Ensemble Software.
• Support store systems (POS and Telephone) as needed.
• Support kitchen equipment as required.
• Respond to after-hours and emergency calls; overtime may be required.
• Work with limited time off between Black Friday and January 8.
