Job summary

Halekulani Corp. seeks an Orchids Restaurant Manager to lead the Orchids Restaurant and Lewers Lounge, driving luxury guest experiences and financial performance in a renowned property.

You will partner with the Executive Chef and supporting departments to deliver Halekulani standards, manage budgets, labor productivity, and compliance, while fostering teamwork and continuous improvement across front-of-house operations.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years progressive F&B leadership experience, preferably luxury hotel or fine dining.
• Three (3) years as Department Head, Restaurant Manager, or equivalent in luxury settings.
• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
• Any combination of education and experience providing necessary knowledge for essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, hands-on leadership with professionalism and guest service.
• Lead daily line-ups, departmental meetings, and communications aligning with objectives.
• Assist in budgeting, capital planning, business reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor Forbes Five-Star standards, LQA, Medallia, guest satisfaction, and quality audits.
• Ensure compliance with health/sanitation laws, HACCP, SOPs, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Stewarding, Engineering, Housekeeping, Sales, Marketing, Finance and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Drive revenue through menu engineering, pricing, upselling, events, and beverage programs.
• Maintain proficiency in OpenTable, POS, forecasting, payroll, and MS Office.
• Lead the department during emergencies ensuring guest and employee safety.
• Provide relief coverage for F&B outlets as needed.
