Job summary

Vespera Resort on Pismo Beach seeks a seasoned Food & Beverage Leader to oversee restaurant, room service, banquets, catering, lounge and beverage operations. You’ll hire, train, schedule and coach staff while driving financial success and maintaining service standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff supervision, event coordination, inventory control and safety compliance, with a focus on delivering a luxury guest experience on California’s central coast.

Qualifications

• Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel.
• Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently.
• Must be able to speak and understand and communicate the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must possess excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the financial performance of the department.
• Prepare and control the hotel budget for the department.
• Manage and support the banquet/catering operations.
• Monitor payroll and supply expenses in line with budget goals.
• Ensure proper procedures for ordering, pouring, and cashiering.
