Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, part of Averill Hospitality, is seeking a Valet Attendant to join our Guest Services Team. You’ll greet guests, escort to rooms, assist with baggage, and deliver five-star service with a smile.

Applicants should have 2+ years in hospitality, be 18+, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. This full-time on-site role offers $16/hour plus tips and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospitality is an asset.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required.
• Ability to work a schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Act as a host/hostess to arriving and departing guests, greet with enthusiasm and prescribed terminology.
• Escort arriving guests to rooms, handle baggage transfers, and accommodate special requests.
• Perform duties during guest departures and as needed for valet services.
• Be a team player and professionally represent the hotel to guests.
• Know hotel rooms, amenities, local attractions, and be able to make recommendations.
