Job summary

The Scott Resort & Spa in Scottsdale is seeking a detail-oriented Steward/Dishwasher to support our kitchens and banquet services. You’ll keep dishware and equipment clean, organized, and ready for use across multiple kitchen areas, including ballroom and loading dock, while upholding health and safety standards.

You’ll work as part of a collaborative team, able to lift heavy loads and operate cleaning products safely.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Dishwashing/stewarding experience in a restaurant or hotel/resort environment preferred, but training is available.
Maricopa County food service worker card required.
Ability to lift and transport heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize plateware, flatware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, baking equipment, utensils according to procedures.
Keep stewarding areas clean, safe, and organized in the ballroom and hospitality kitchens and loading dock.
Sweep and mop floors and maintain floor drains.
Ensure dishwashing and kitchen equipment remain clean, functional, and health-compliant.
Clean equipment including fryers, broilers, slicers, belts, kettles, skillets, pots, and pans promptly.
Support chefs by keeping tools clean and ready when needed.
Assist with for resort functions, from intimate gatherings to events.
Help transport dishes and equipment for off-property functions; move dishes to hot boxes.
Take on additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
