Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience within luxury hotels, resorts, or lifestyle hospitality environments.
• Minimum of three (3) years in an executive leadership role such as Director of Rooms, Director of Operations, Hotel Manager, or Resort Manager.
• Proven experience leading multi-department resort or hotel operations with accountability for guest experience, colleague engagement, and financial results.
• Strong understanding of luxury guest expectations and service delivery standards.
• Demonstrated success leading large, diverse operational teams.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and profitability analysis.
• Excellent communication, coaching, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, highly visible luxury resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all day-to-day resort operations in partnership with the General Manager.
• Provide executive oversight for Rooms, F&B, Engineering, Security, Spa, Recreation, and Resort Services.
• Ensure consistent execution of Hyatt luxury and Andaz brand standards throughout the guest journey.
• Drive Forbes-level service behaviors and memorable experiences reflecting Miami Beach's culture.
• Maintain a visible presence engaging guests, colleagues, and leaders to ensure excellence.
• Monitor guest feedback and service metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead operational planning for peak periods, events, group programs, and VIP experiences.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, labor, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, service delivery, and collaboration.
• Lead achievement of operating plans, financial targets, and departmental profitability.
