Job summary

Noble House Hotels & Resorts seeks a Skilled Maintenance Engineer for Jekyll Island Club Resort. This hands-on role maintains guest rooms, dining and event spaces, and public areas, performing repairs, PMs, and finish-work with pride in a luxury setting.

Ideal candidates bring multi-trade expertise—painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical basics—and strong guest-service focus; ability to work with minimal supervision is essential for keeping the resort at peak condition.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or resort engineering or skilled trades.
• Hands-on background with painting, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance.
• Ability to perform guest room preventive maintenance (PM).
• Capable of interior and exterior painting and carpentry tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and perform repairs across guest rooms, restaurants, event spaces, and public areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and back-of-house facilities.
• Complete painting, drywall, carpentry, and finish-work projects property-wide.
• Communicate with guests professionally and minimize disruption during service.
• Identify maintenance needs and determine repair solutions with quality workmanship.
