Job summary

Jekyll Island Club Resort is seeking a Universal Certified HVAC Technician to join our Engineering team. You will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems across the resort, including guest rooms and event spaces, ensuring comfort and safety for guests and staff.

You will perform preventative maintenance, document repairs, and coordinate with leadership on system improvements.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• Experience as HVAC Technician / HVAC-R / Facilities Technician.
• Hotel/resort or large facility HVAC experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain and repair HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on HVAC systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical information.
• Communicate professionally with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and service HVAC and refrigeration systems throughout the resort.
• Diagnose and repair heating/cooling equipment, perform preventative maintenance.
• Respond to HVAC work orders and document repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Engineering leadership on day-to-day maintenance of a full-service resort.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and professional appearance; minimize disruption to guests.
