Job summary

Jekyll Island Club Resort is seeking a Universal Certified HVAC Technician to join our Engineering team. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/refrigeration systems across the resort, including guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring comfort and safety for guests.

You will perform preventive maintenance, document work, and assist with daily operations while minimizing disruption to guests in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• Experience as HVAC Technician or similar skilled maintenance position.
• Hotel, resort HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair HVAC and refrigeration systems throughout the resort.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to HVAC-related work orders.
• Document completed repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering leadership on day-to-day maintenance operations.
• Minimize guest disruption and maintain professional appearance while working in guest areas.
• Work with vendors and team members to ensure reliable facility operation.
