Job summary

The Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island, SC is seeking an enthusiastic Front of House Host for our luxury dining venues. As a guest-facing ambassador, you will greet guests, manage the host stand, seat guests with care, and ensure accurate wait times in line with Forbes Travel Guide standards.

You will coordinate with servers and management, relay VIP notes, and maintain a polished appearance and professional etiquette.

Qualifications

• Previous host or guest service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a warm, genuine demeanor and use guest names when possible.
• Deliver a refined welcome aligned with Forbes Travel Guide standards.
• Manage the host stand and escort guests to tables.
• Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure seating and pacing of the dining room.
• Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations.
• Relay VIP notes and guest requests to the service team.
• Maintain clear communication to ensure guest-focused interactions.
• Maintain a clean host stand and dining area.
