Job summary

Sea Island Company is seeking an experienced host/reservation professional for its prestigious resort. You will engage guests at the door, on the phone and via email, while maintaining awareness of current and future reservations to ensure smooth service flow.

You will train all host team members, stay informed about the menu, and assist in creating special events and large party dining experiences in line with Forbes Five Star standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-end hospitality or resort settings.
• Ability to manage large party dining and events.
• Excellent knowledge of menu and dining options.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests at the door, on the phone and through email.
• Remain aware of reservations, short term and long term.
• Manage reservations for smooth flow of service.
• Respond to reservation requests and needs in a timely manner defined by leadership.
• Responsible for the training of all host team members.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding the menu.
• Oversee menu modifications, creating special events and large party dining menus.
