Job summary

Claremont Resort & Club in the Berkeley hills seeks an experienced leader to manage restaurant and room service operations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Direct day-to-day activities of the outlets and ensure compliance with LSOPs and SOPs while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates bring hotel/restaurant operations knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to analyze information to drive decisions.

Qualifications

• More than two years of post-high school education.
• Two years of full employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Requires knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures.
• Strong supervision/management communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information and make recommendations.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, marketing plans, safety programs, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of restaurant and room service for all meals.
• Interview, hire, train, develop staff and manage performance evaluations.
• Oversee budgeting related to labor, food and beverage, and supplies.
• Respond to trends and issues to ensure quality guest service.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in all outlet areas.
