Job summary

The Resort at Longboat Key Club is seeking an Events Liaison to coordinate and manage all facets of event planning, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences at our premier Florida resort.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, manage budgets and timelines, and support marketing efforts for resort events. A strong focus on communication, organization, and flexibility is essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning, coordination, or related hospitality role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Longboat Key area is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of event planning and execution from inquiry to completion.
• Serve as primary contact between the resort and event clients to understand needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with catering, housekeeping, and front desk to meet event requirements.
• Maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Monitor event budgets and timelines to ensure on-time delivery within budget.
• Assist in marketing and promoting resort events as needed.
• Address event-related issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
