Job summary

The Waldorf Astoria Maui, Grand Wailea (Hilton), seeks an Event Services Manager for the Catering and Events team. This Forbes 4-Star/AAA 4-Diamond resort sits on 40 tropical acres with 780 rooms and 100,000 sq ft of banquet space.

You’ll run events, drive revenue, nurture client relationships, and lead the service team, while supporting sales and solving issues promptly. Hilton offers travel perks, parental leave, wellness programs, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning and execution
• Ability to manage client relationships and coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality events: manage documentation, ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction
• Maximize revenue opportunities by identifying upsell prospects and enhancements
• Build and maintain client relationships throughout the event lifecycle
• Guide team performance through direction, feedback, and coaching
• Support the sales process with client site visits and pre-event meetings
• Resolve guest concerns and negotiate service adjustments under pressure
