Job summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort in Marathon, FL is seeking an energetic Bartender to join our luxury Food & Beverage team. You will deliver exceptional guest experiences while preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages in a fast-paced resort setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of bartending experience, knowledge of cocktails and wine, strong guest service skills, and the ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• 1+ year bartending experience; luxury hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage preparation.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to guests at all times
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter orders into the POS system
• Build rapport with guests and create a welcoming, engaging bar atmosphere
• Maintain extensive knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
• Ensure the bar is properly set up, clean, organized, and fully stocked before, during, and after service
• Complete side work including stocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, fruit, and supplies
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to leadership
• Ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with state laws and resort standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout all bar areas
• Assist fellow team members as needed to support efficient operations and exceptional guest service
