Job summary

The Hills, located in East Quogue, NY, seeks a Project Manager to lead multiple residential and amenity projects within Discovery Land Company’s Development and Construction group. You will manage budgets, schedules, quality, and owner expectations from inception through completion, delivering a first-class member experience.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of construction management, a background in luxury residential builds, and proficiency with Procore, Smartsheets, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in field applicable to position preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years applicable work experience to position required.
• Construction Management certification, or equivalent experience will be given preference.
• Procore certification preferred.
• Strong preference to candidates with luxury residential construction experience; commercial experience and process management also preferred.
• Competency with Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Publisher, Project, Visio.

Responsibilities

• Assure Customer Satisfaction and the Member Experience.
• Primary Contact for Members, Members Representatives, Designers, and Architects and General Contractor
• Create an environment of Professionalism, Respect, Timeliness, and Accountability among the project team.
• Oversee Bi-Weekly Reports in Standard Company Formats
• Coordinate with the Architect, Landscape Architect, Interior Designer, and other Consultants.
• Interface with the General Contractor in managing project schedule and budgets.
• Managing Project Budgets
• Complete Budget Snapshots Monthly
• Cost Coding - All costs must be coded to the appropriate budgets.
• Complete Bid Comparisons for review prior to Issuing Subcontracts and Purchase Orders
• Support Superintendents and On-Site Construction Activities
• Weekly Owner, Architect, Contractor (ORC) Conference Calls using Microsoft Teams or other video platform
• Maintain cleanliness and site safety
• Ongoing support of Community Development Initiatives
• Responsible for overall Project success by managing budgets, buyouts with subcontractors and suppliers, schedules, QA/QC, punch list and turnover.
• Highly skilled in Procore.
• Setting expectations with the Member and the member’s team.
• Review, drive, and manage site cleanliness, material management, laydown yards, and traffic flow.
• Pivot to new projects in fast-paced environment
