You will prepare accurate control estimates and budgets from drawings, perform quantity surveys, and manage bid processes with top-tier subcontractors. The team emphasizes quality and client service.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum four years of experience in estimating, purchasing (including bid leveling), and subcontractor agreements.
• Sophisticated high end residential experience is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam for quantity takeoffs and drawing review.
• Thorough knowledge of premium materials, custom detailing and current market construction costs (Northeast and South Florida).
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines concurrently while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, design professionals and trade partners.
• A collaborative approach and a strong commitment to quality and precision.

Aufgaben

• Prepare accurate control estimates, project budgets from architectural drawings and specifications, from conceptual pricing through final trade agreements.
• Perform quantity surveys and develop cost models covering all trades, from sitework through highly developed residential interior finishes.
• Revise budgets as designs progress, and communicate potential cost impacts promptly so the project team can make timely decisions.
• Manage the trade bidding process: identify qualified subcontractors, evaluate proposals on a comparable basis, and resolve discrepancies between bids.
• Develop and maintain relationships with qualified trade partners and suppliers to ensure dependable workmanship and competitive pricing.
