Job summary

Nautilus 220 in Lake Park, FL, seeks an experienced Engineer to oversee operation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical, HVAC, water, and life-safety systems for a luxury residential community. You will coordinate with vendors, respond to emergencies, and support preventive maintenance programs to ensure uninterrupted building operations.

The ideal candidate is technically skilled, proactive, and organized, with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to exceptional resident

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial building engineering or luxury residential facilities.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Pumps, Pool equipment, and life safety systems.
• Experience coordinating vendors and service contractors.
• Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and after-hours emergencies.
• EPA Universal Certification, HVAC Certification, Electrical License or Journeyman, CPO, OSHA 10/30 preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain major building systems.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for maintenance and capital projects.
• Respond to emergencies and support life safety requirements.
• Develop and document preventative maintenance schedules.
• Manage work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with codes and standards.
• Support capital improvement projects and budgeting.
• Collaborate with Operations, Housekeeping, Concierge, Security, and Management.
