Job summary

Nemacolin invites you to join its Reservations Internship, a 12-week, paid program designed to build skills in guest engagement, consultative selling, and hospitality operations.

You will work with experienced reservation specialists, gain experience across phone, email, and web chat, and complete an experiential project that demonstrates your ability to support memorable guest experiences while driving revenue and loyalty.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in, or recent graduation from, a bachelor’s degree program in Hospitality Management, Communication, Business, or a related discipline.
• Ability to multitask while simultaneously communicating with guests, navigating computer programs, and typing.
• Fluent English communication skills required.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to commit to a consecutive 12-week internship.
• High motivation, initiative, and a demonstrated drive for personal and professional success.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests by phone, email, and web chat to understand preferences and connect them to accommodations, amenities, activities, events, dining, and experiences.
• Provide polished guidance with knowledge of resort offerings and local destinations to help guests envision an exceptional stay.
• Develop consultative sales skills through inbound/outbound conversations and thoughtful questioning.
• Process accurate reservations and gift card orders.
• Support data-driven reporting and team projects to improve resources, tools, and processes.
• Navigate guest concerns and assist with office operations to balance service, efficiency, and business priorities.
