Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Active enrollment in, or recent graduation from, a bachelor's degree program in Hospitality Management, Events, or a related discipline.
• Previous luxury hospitality experience preferred.
• Continuous authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
• Commitment to the consecutive 12-week, full-time internship program and assigned intern rotation.
• Ability to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift, move, and place items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Seamless group experiences by becoming a known point of contact for meeting planners and in-house groups, ensuring guest needs and event details are communicated from arrival through departure.
• Confident event execution by partnering with Conference Services, Catering, and operations to support complex programs and evolving guest needs.
• Maintain polished written and verbal communication and anticipate guest needs with calm, solution-focused responses.
• Contribute to Pre-Convention Meetings, Banquet Event Order Meetings, and weekly Group Resume meetings to keep teams informed and prepared.
• Monitor event logistics from start to finish and proactively resolve concerns to keep the guest experience central to every decision.
• Pursue an experiential capstone project reflecting development and learnings from the internship.
• Support department leaders with special projects to strengthen events team effectiveness.
