Job summary

Thomas Ranch Development is seeking a Hands-on Grounds Caretaker & Maintenance Technician to ensure our ranch properties are pristine, functional, and guest-ready. You will perform landscaping, routine facility upkeep, and assist with events, while supporting animal care and ranch operations.

The role requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. You’ll work on-site in a luxury hospitality and ranch environment with emphasis on safety and guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in groundskeeping, maintenance, facilities, landscaping, ranch operations, or related field.
• Certifications or formal training in electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, irrigation, or mechanical systems preferred.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping and maintenance equipment.
• Physically capable of outdoor, hands-on work and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of all Thomas Ranch properties.
• Perform landscaping, mowing, trimming, pruning, irrigation support, and seasonal beautification.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on buildings and facilities.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, transport, and logistics.
• Care for ranch animals and support general ranch operations.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment, track maintenance needs, and maintain tool storage.
• Uphold safety standards and use PPE; report hazards or incidents.
• Support guest experience with prompt, professional service.
