Village Green is seeking a Future Growth Class A Property Manager for our Kansas City, MO portfolio. You will lead Marketing, Leasing, Administrative, and Maintenance efforts to meet budgetary goals and client expectations, while ensuring strong resident relations and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), at least 2 years in multi-family property management, and a real estate license (or will obtain within 120 days if required).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in multi-family property management with strong supervisory skills.
• Real estate license required or to be obtained within 120 days if required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Marketing, Leasing, Administrative, and Maintenance functions.
• Achieve company and client budget objectives and manage financial reporting.
• Oversee Resident/Landlord relations and collections.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial and operational reports; budget-to-actual variance explanations.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

• Responsible for achieving company and client budget objectives
• Supervise all Marketing, Leasing, Administrative, and Maintenance functions.
• Responsible for all Resident/Landlord Relations
• Responsible for accounting and collections
• Complete required weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial and operational reports
• Complete budget-to-actual variance reporting and provide explanations for significant variances.
• Strong understanding of property budgeting and financial management
• Supervise day-to-day office and maintenance operations to include project management
• Responsible, under the supervision of the Area Director, for property-specific and company reporting requirements as provided to the Corporate Office or clients on or before the due date
• Follow all organization's policies, practices, and procedures
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve property and company goals
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Yardi
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in work experience will be taken into account
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in multi-family Property Management including strong supervisory skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to maintain strong working relations with internal colleagues, owners and vendors
• Must have real estate license or obtain within 120 days of employment if required by state law.
