Job summary

RHO Residential, LLC in West New York, NJ, is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager/Supervisor to support the Maintenance Manager in keeping the community safe and well-maintained. This role requires hands-on repairs, scheduling, and coordination with contractors to ensure a high standard of living for residents.

You will oversee service requests, prioritize tasks, and help ensure vacant units are rent-ready while maintaining safety and efficiency across the property.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; ability to read/write English fluently.
• Basic to intermediate math skills; technical certification is a plus.
• 2–3 years property management maintenance experience; 1 year supervisory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property condition according to safety standards.
• Complete service requests and repairs promptly.
• Assist Maintenance Manager with scheduling and prioritizing tasks.
• Oversee turn-key operations to prepare vacant units for rent.
• Supervise maintenance staff and outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and procure as needed.
• Support preventative maintenance programs to minimize emergencies.
• Uphold safety programs and hazard communications on-site.
