Job summary

RHO Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the Maintenance Manager in keeping our West New York community safe, clean, and well-maintained. The role involves supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring timely turn-key operations for vacant units.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2–3 years in property maintenance, and supervisory experience. EPA Type I/II refrigerant certs and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; fluency in reading/writing English.
• 2–3 years’ experience in property management maintenance; 1 year supervisory preferred.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing basic plumbing/electrical systems.
• EPA refrigerant certifications I & II; CPO; valid driver’s license; other licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property condition per company standards.
• Ensure repairs are done promptly and correctly.
• Assist Maintenance Manager with prioritizing service requests.
• Assist with turnover and rent-ready units.
• Schedule and supervise maintenance staff and external contractors.
• Maintain inventory of supplies; process purchases.
