Job summary

British American Household Staffing seeks a top-tier housekeeper for a private principal with residences in New York City and Los Angeles. This full-time role requires discretion, flawless presentation, and a calm, proactive approach to keep the home guest-ready.

You will manage hands-on housekeeping, laundry, wardrobe care, and occasional light breakfast support for the private chef. You’ll coordinate deliveries, oversee inventories, and liaise with service providers to maintain the residence

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in luxury private residences.
• Excellent English written and spoken.
• Ability to anticipate needs and adapt to changing priorities.
• Flexible availability for travel-related support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on housekeeping and exceptional laundry/wardrobe care.
• Occasionally preparing light breakfast and supporting the private chef with food presentation and cleanup.
• Overseeing household inventories and coordinating deliveries/returns.
• Maintaining house procedures and quality-control standards.
• Liaising with service providers and scheduling preventative maintenance.
