Job summary

The Cooper in Charleston, part of Beemok Hospitality Holdings LLC, is seeking a Pastry Sous Chef to support the Executive Pastry Chef and contribute to menu development for the outlet. • Experience in luxury environments preferred.
• Ability to work across kitchen stations and lead teams.
• Strong communication skills with guests, management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership and assume basic management responsibilities.
• Liaise between pastry division and other hotel departments.
• Supervise preparation and cooking of items and ensure quality.
• Develop and implement creative pastry menu items aligned with brand standards.
• Plan and execute special events and holiday functions.
• Manage hourly staff through scheduling, payroll, training and coaching.
• Lead and coach team to deliver exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
• Monitor production, costs, and quality daily; ensure safety and sanitation.
