Hotel Oceana Santa Monica is seeking a friendly and professional Server to deliver attentive guest experiences in our luxury, all-suite oceanfront setting. You will greet guests, recommend menu options, and enter orders into the POS with precision.

In this role, you will support opening/closing side work, assist with banquet events, and ensure impeccable cleanliness and organization across service areas. Prior restaurant or hotel experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide knowledgeable menu recommendations.
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the POS system.
• Communicate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly with proper presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and anticipate needs throughout the dining experience.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Support banquet and special events, including setup and breakdown.
• Maintain a clean, organized service area and assist with setup/teardown.
• Follow sanitation and food safety standards; monitor inventory and shortages.
