Job summary

Simpson Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for a premier class A 175-unit mid-rise community on Daniel Island, Charleston, SC. Responsibilities include maintaining a luxury property, troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pools, and preparing units for leasing while upholding curb appeal.

Qualifications: 1+ year maintenance experience, HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge, CPO cert (can be obtained after hire), CAMT preferred, MS Office experience, strong customer service, and

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related general maintenance experience.
• General knowledge and experience with HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair and basic carpentry.
• CPO certification required (can be obtained after hire).
• Fair housing training required and CAMT (Apartment Maintenance) certification preferred.
• Some experience with MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook).
• Strong customer service skills.
• At times, will be required to be on call.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and preserving a multi-million dollar luxury community ensuring a quality living experience for our residents.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water, swimming pools and security systems.
• Developing rapport with residents and assisting with general maintenance needs (appliances, flooring, cabinets, locks, drywall, etc.).
• Preparing vacant units to be ready to lease per company specifications.
• Maintaining strong curb appeal at the property.
