Job summary

Thompson Thrift is seeking a Leasing Consultant for The Union Flats in Fishers, IN, to drive occupancy and revenue growth within a Class A multifamily community. You will deliver an engaging resident experience, guide prospects through the leasing journey, and support marketing and outreach efforts to position the property effectively.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of leasing or sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or a professional office environment.
• Experience in multifamily leasing, sales, or hospitality preferred.
• Class A or luxury multifamily experience a plus.
• Flexibility to work some evenings; must be able to work weekends.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required for outreach marketing and shopping comps; mileage reimbursement will be provided at IRS current rate.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting 10 to 25 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Experience with transparent, upfront pricing of rent and required fees to ensure total cost clarity.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage prospective residents, providing personalized tours that highlight the value and features of the community.
• Guide prospects through the application and leasing process, addressing questions and objections.
• Support leasing performance by contributing to occupancy goals and overall community success.
• Respond to prospect inquiries across multiple channels, including phone, email, and digital platforms.
• Deliver a high level of customer service to prospective and current residents, supporting satisfaction and retention.
• Support marketing and outreach efforts, including online presence, reputation management, and community events.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the community, amenities, and surrounding market to position the property effectively.
• Prepare lease documentation, process applications, and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with resident move-ins and onboarding to ensure a seamless experience.
• Collaborate with on-site management and team members to support a high-performing leasing environment.
