The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago is seeking a diligent Dry Cleaning Attendant to ensure guest linens and uniforms reflect the brand’s gold standard of hospitality. Join a luxury hotel team delivering pristine laundry services with safety and quality at the forefront.

Role focuses on processing soiled linen, operating washers and irons, inspecting for damage, and maintaining clean work areas while supporting guest satisfaction and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No formal education needed.
• Prior laundry experience desirable.
• Ability to meet cleaning standards.
• Basic understanding of cleaning methods, chemicals.
• Able to inspect cleanliness standards and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers following all safety practices.
• Process sorted linen using washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers and feeders.
• Inspect linen for tears or sub-standard conditions and remove from guest inventory.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and empty lint traps after each load.
• Notify supervisor of malfunctioning equipment or needs to ensure efficiency.
• Ensure linen carts are stocked and ready for delivery to guest room floors.
