Job summary

The Langham Chicago is seeking a diligent Uniform Room Attendant to distribute clean uniforms, receive soiled items, and ensure proper laundry coordination with external service providers. You will also mend, size, and document uniforms and maintain accurate records in a high-standard hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous seamstress/tailor experience preferred.
• No licenses or certificates required.

Responsibilities

• Collect used uniforms and issue clean uniforms to designated colleagues.
• Size, issue and properly document uniforms for all colleagues.
• Coordinate guest and hotel management laundry/dry cleaning with external service company.
• Inspect condition and counts of cleaned items and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain orderly and clean uniform room and record-keeping.
