The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a highly organized Line Cook to join our Food & Beverage team and deliver memorable guest experiences in a luxury Five-Star property on Michigan Avenue.

Responsibilities include mise en place, minimizing waste, presentation standards, daily kitchen outputs, and flexible coverage across stations. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, retirement, and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years culinary experience in an upscale restaurant.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Creative, motivated, and able to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mise en place for the station and maintain quality.
• Minimize wastage and maximize use of ingredients.
• Maintain presentation standards and help set new ones.
• Produce the daily kitchen requirements for the team.
• Plan and execute production to meet needs.
• Cover other stations when the supervisor is absent.
• Follow hotel cost control policies and procedures.
• Assist in effective storage of food items.
