Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail sales (apparel, fashion, home, furniture, or lifestyle retail preferred).
• Experience or interest in apparel styling and home interiors.
• Passion for delivering an elevated and personalized customer experience.
• Can-do attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Willingness to work during peak periods, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with POS and inventory management systems; Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift and move objects weighing 20 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales across apparel, accessories, and home with friendly, welcoming service.
• Engage with customers to understand wardrobe and home needs and provide thoughtful recommendations.
• Develop product knowledge across collections to educate customers on materials, fit, styling, and functionality.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and keep an updated client book.
• Drive sales through clienteling, consignments, and partnerships with designers and stylists.
• Assist customers with styling and curating home products reflecting the Jenni Kayne lifestyle.
• Handle POS transactions, exchanges, refunds, gift cards, and gift wrap.
• Support store operations: maintain displays, stock transfers, replenishment, and receiving new products.
• Participate in store events and initiatives to drive engagement and sales.
• Encourage sign-ups for Jenni Kayne Rewards and social media engagement.
• Share customer and business feedback with management and contribute to daily recaps.
• Secure company assets through loss prevention practices.
