Job summary

Sound Decisions in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Sales Counselor to lead entrance-fee sales for a luxury Life Plan Community. This onsite role emphasizes relationship-building with affluent prospects and a long sales cycle, with commissions and a defined career path.

You will manage leads, conduct tours, and collaborate with the Life Planning team to guide residents from first contact to move-in, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of active, quota-carrying sales experience.
• At least 3 years in a long-cycle, relationship-based sales role.
• Demonstrated leadership skills; supervisory or management experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including managing leads and activity in a CRM.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Gerontology or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Make daily phone outreach and follow-up with prospects.
• Enter detailed notes into the CRM and track lead activity.
• Conduct campus tours and coordinate with family members.
• Nurture relationships through a long sales cycle toward deposit and move-in.
• Collaborate with Life Planning team and Director of Life Planning to close deals.
