Job summary

Sound Decisions in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Sales Counselor for a Luxury Life Plan Community. You will cultivate relationships over months, manage an entrance-fee sales cycle, and work Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5 with occasional events.

You will receive provided leads, a commission on entrance-fee sales, and a path to grow into sales leadership. The role requires patience, professional communication, and the ability to navigate complex decisions with affluent families.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of active, quota‑carrying sales experience.
• At least 3 years in a long‑cycle, relationship‑based sales role.
• Demonstrated leadership skills; supervisory, team lead or management experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including managing leads and activity in a CRM.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Gerontology or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with prospects over months, guiding entrance‑fee decisions.
• Manage a long sales cycle with ongoing follow‑up and tours.
• Generate and follow up on leads via phone and email; maintain the CRM.
• Collaborate with the Life Planning team to mentor and close deposits.
