Job summary

Russo Development and Russo Property Management in Kearny, NJ seeks a Leasing Specialist to join our team. You will partner with the Property Manager to drive day-to-day leasing, greet prospective residents, conduct tours, process applications, and help maintain a first-class community experience.

Requirements include 2–4 years in a luxury multifamily setting, strong organizational and customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School / GED required.
• 2–4 years of experience in a luxury multifamily apartment community.
• Strong organizational abilities, customer service skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and provide detailed community tours.
• Provide administrative support including processing new applications and lease renewals, preparing renewal letters, maintaining a renewal log, and organizing resident files.
• Handle signing of leases, walk-throughs for move-ins and show-able units.
• Assist new residents during move-in with lease explanations, rules, and amenity locations.
• Coordinate with maintenance for turnovers and keep show-able units and common areas clean.
• Inspect the community and report maintenance needs.
• Address and resolve resident concerns and issues.
• Maintain product knowledge of property and sister properties.
• Support Property Manager in marketing to increase traffic and leads.
