Job summary

The Dermot Company, LP is seeking a full-time Leasing & Management Associate to oversee day-to-day property management and leasing for luxury multifamily properties in Manhattan and surrounding areas. This onsite role runs 9–6pm, weekends included, with regular in-person interactions across teams.

You will contribute to resident relations, renewals, tours, applications, and reporting, while supporting a high-performing management team committed to exceptional resident experiences and integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of property management experience in a multifamily building environment.
• Experience with NY multifamily & mix-use buildings, and knowledge of related laws and regulations.
• Real estate license or willingness to obtain the license within the allotted time.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, communication and follow-through skills.
• Proactive and eager to learn and grow with the organization.

Responsibilities

• Be the first responder for resident and prospect calls and inquiries.
• Meet residents’ needs in a timely, courteous manner while upholding building standards.
• Support the management team with resident relations, move-in/out procedures, amenity upkeep and general office matters.
• Assist leasing team with renewals, tours, lease applications and social media efforts.
• Support weekly and monthly reporting and complete additional project tasks as assigned.
