Job summary

The RealReal Glendale store is seeking an Inventory Operations Shopkeeper to maintain organized stockrooms and ensure accurate inventory movement, while delivering exceptional customer service on the sales floor.

As a part-time on-site role, you will use POS systems, Google Suite, and other store technologies, support merchandising, and participate in counts to safeguard company assets. Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Proficient with store equipment and technology.

Responsibilities

• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with TRR's inventory control processes
• Prepare and ship customers' orders following quality, packing and shipping standards
• Contribute to successful company growth and securing of our assets through implementation of TRR's Loss Prevention policies & procedures
• Manage inventory movement by ensuring the accurate & timely processing of mark-downs, transfers & consolidations, receiving and POS transactions
• Support product placement and outfitting that is reflective of trend, reinforces TRR's brand messaging, and inspires the customer
• Proficiently use all core systems & technologies including but not limited to POS, Mac & Google Suite applications
• Manage product presentation (e.g., put items back in place, restock or add depleted items to the floor from inventory, destock or relocate items) according to TRR's standards
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Support and model excellent customer service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and company to both internal and external customers in all forms of communication
• Exhibit fluency in store operational procedures; ability to teach and assist all team members to perform daily store functions
• Participate in all cycle and inventory counts as needed
• Support the success of the store by performing other functions or tasks as needed or directed
