Perigold in Houston, TX is seeking a Retail Design Consultant to craft luxury design experiences for both Trade and Consumer clients. You will manage design appointments, curate product selections, and guide customers through large-scale projects.

This role requires 2+ years in design within a high-end retail setting, familiarity with Perigold brands, and a portfolio. You will be expected to meet sales KPIs with a flexible schedule.

Competenze

• 2+ years of design experience with a design firm or high-end furniture retailer.
• Familiarity with Perigold supplier brands, materials and construction, and custom programs a plus.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects for luxury B2C and trade customers.
• Passion for design, great customer service and a drive to exceed sales targets.
• Strong organization, self-motivation, communication and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency with Google Suites and/or Microsoft Office; CRM/POS experience preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce, DesignFiles, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or similar tools preferred.
• Team player in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Art/Architecture/Interior Design preferred.
• Flexible availability (mornings, nights, weekends, some holidays).

• Own your book of business end-to-end, building relationships with design clients and prospects.
• Meet the needs of Perigold customers, including large-scale and trade projects.
• Leverage interior design and sales expertise to guide design purchases.
• Share expertise in fabrics and finishes, highlighting trends and durability.
• Manage virtual, in-home, and in-store design appointments and deliverables.
• Use mood boards, space plans, and 2D/3D views to drive store profitability.
• Prioritize customer experience and communicate with leadership clearly.
• Meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction targets and KPIs.
• Support store operations: floor sets, replenishment, and product launches.
• Contribute innovative ideas to improve team operations.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with product/promotions changes.
