Wayfair’s Perigold division seeks a Senior Designer in Houston to deliver luxury kitchen and bath design solutions for Trade and Consumer clients. You’ll own client relationships from concept to installation, coordinating with vendors and using design tools to present moodboards and 2D/3D views.

The role requires 2+ years of design experience, 1+ year in kitchen/bath design, and a strong portfolio. Expect a base hourly wage with substantial quarterly bonuses, and a generous employee discount.

Competenze

• 2+ years of design experience within a design firm or high end furniture retailer.
• 1+ years of experience in kitchen and bath design.
• Retail sales experience.
• Professional portfolio required.
• Understanding luxury plumbing.
• Sales driven track record.
• Experience with large-scale projects for luxury B2C and trade customers.
• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design preferred.
• Flexibility availability mornings, nights, weekends.

Mansioni

• Maintain luxury experience standards and provide an authentic, inviting guest experience that exemplifies customer satisfaction and passion for luxury design.
• Own your book of business end-to-end, developing relationships with design clients and prospecting new design customers in store and in the community.
• Advise and execute on luxury kitchen and bathroom designs/installs including stonework, luxury plumbing, appliance fitting.
• Meet complex needs of Perigold customers including large-scale projects and trade customers.
• Leverage interior design and sales expertise to help customers navigate design needs and purchases.
• Work with vendors on procurement of luxury kitchen and bath products.
• Share expertise in fabrics and finishes and communicate market trends using swatches.
• Manage design appointments (virtual, in-home, in-store) and follow up with design deliverables and product curation.
• Use sales analytics and design tools (moodboards, space plans, 2D/3D views) to drive store profitability.
• Prioritize customer experience while collaborating with leadership.
• Meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction targets and KPIs.
• Participate in store operations: stocking, floor sets, replenishment.
• Share innovative ideas to improve team operations.
• Adapt to a high energy, dynamic work environment with rapid product changes.
