The Pfister Hotel, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is seeking an Assistant Director of Housekeeping in Milwaukee to guide daily operations, drive excellence in cleanliness and presentation, and lead a high-performing team in a luxury setting.

Ideal candidates will have proven leadership, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience with hotel housekeeping systems. This role offers competitive pay and benefits in a historic, iconic property.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in housekeeping, preferably within a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality environment.
• High school diploma required; degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemical safety practices.
• Experience with Opera PMS or similar hotel management systems strongly preferred.
• Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional guest service

Responsabilités

• Partner with the Director of Housekeeping to lead daily department operations and ensure exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Analyze operational challenges and recommend solutions that drive efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in managing departmental budgets, inventory controls, labor expenses, and financial performance.
• Lead, coach, and support housekeeping associates to achieve departmental goals and service excellence.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces to ensure compliance with brand and hotel standards.
• Oversee staffing needs, scheduling, and daily work assignments.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
