The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee seeks an Assistant Director of Housekeeping to lead daily operations, uphold luxury standards and guide a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have management experience in upscale environments, strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, plus knowledge of housekeeping procedures and Opera PMS. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in housekeeping, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Leadership skills to motivate, develop and retain high-performing teams.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of housekeeping operations, procedures, equipment and chemical safety.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Director of Housekeeping to lead daily operations and uphold standards.
• Analyze challenges and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in budgeting, inventory controls, labor costs and financial performance.
• Lead, coach and support associates to achieve goals and service excellence.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public spaces for brand compliance.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and daily work assignments.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
