Job summary

The Colony Palm Beach in Palm Beach, FL is seeking a dedicated Steward to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across kitchen and dish areas. You will follow health regulations, operate dishwashing equipment, and assist cooks in preparing service areas for events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of stewarding experience in a hotel/restaurant/banquet hall.
• Good understanding of cleaning and sanitizing techniques and procedures.
• Ability to operate, clean and maintain all equipment required in job functions.
• Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware.
• Ensure dishes are sanitized and available as needed.
• Maintain the dish machine properly cleaned.
• Sort, wash, and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans.
• Wash and sanitize service ware, cookware, and utensils.
• Keep dish room area organized and sanitary.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of service areas for events.
• Adhere to health codes and safety policies.
