Turnberry Ocean Colony in Sunny Isles, FL is seeking a Dishwasher/Steward to support our Culinary team and maintain the highest cleanliness standards in a luxury resort setting. Responsibilities include cleaning dishes and equipment, maintaining back-of-house spaces, and collaborating with chefs to ensure smooth service.

Food Safe certification is preferred; reliability and stamina are essential for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Food Safe certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean workspace.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while staying organized.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all dishes, equipment, cookware, and small wares are consistently cleaned, sanitized, polished, and ready for use.
• Operate dish machines and hand-wash delicate or specialty items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish stations, sinks, prep areas, storage shelves, and all back-of-house spaces.
• Ensure refrigerators and storerooms are cleaned, organized, and maintained daily.
• Remove trash, break down boxes, and handle recycling according to property guidelines.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and chemical-handling standards, upholding a safe and health-conscious work environment.
• Communicate effectively with all kitchen team members to keep operations running smoothly.
• Promptly report any maintenance or equipment issues.
