Job summary

Performance Hospitality Management (PHM) is seeking a full-time Steward/Dishwasher to support our B Ocean Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will wash and sanitize wares, maintain clean work areas, and assist with kitchen setups, breakdowns, and deep cleans.

Applicants should be comfortable in a hot, humid kitchen, follow ServSafe/HACCP practices, and maintain safe chemical handling. Prior dishwashing or janitorial experience is preferred, with a Food Handler certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• Prior steward/dishwashing or janitorial experience preferred.
• Able to follow written/verbal instructions and sanitation standards.
• Food Handler certification preferred (or obtained within 30 days).
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate dish machines and sinks; wash, rinse, and sanitize wares to standard.
• Keep dish room and prep areas clean; mop floors and sanitize surfaces.
• Follow chemical safety, label/date, and safe storage practices.
• Manage trash, recycling, and waste disposal; assist with inventory par levels.
• Set up/break down banquet stations and support cooks as needed.
• Delime dish machines and monitor temps and sanitizer levels.
