Job summary

Four Seasons San Francisco at Embarcadero seeks a Server to join our Orafo team. You will take guest orders, describe menu items, and coordinate with kitchen and bar to deliver timely service.

This role requires 2–3 years in Food & Beverage, ability to stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Experience in luxury hospitality is preferred; legal work authorization in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in Food & Beverage and prior server experience.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, large team environment.
• Must be able to stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Legal work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Take guest orders and describe the selection of food & beverage menu items with vivid descriptions.
• Communicate guest orders to kitchen and bar using the POS system; coordinate timings.
• Check orders and transport items to the guest table or lounge chair promptly.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to concerns, and offer suggestions.
• Read each table and adapt to create a customized experience for diverse guests.
• Close guest checks accurately and process payments.
• Break down, clean and set up tables and chairs.
• Work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors.
• Assist with duties in the absence or during heavy volume in Food & Beverage.
